One device
Click a device name in Devices to see that device: whether it is still managed, whether it is supervised, and the tabs for profiles, apps, and commands.
When to open thisYou need to check one iPhone or iPad before you send a command or assign something else.

The Overview
| Block | What you read |
|---|---|
| Hardware | Platform, operating-system version, model, serial, and device name. |
| iOS security | Supervised: whether the device is supervised. The Supervised badge under the name appears only when the value is Yes. Lost Mode: whether it is lost. Passcode lock: whether a token is still available so you can clear the passcode remotely. This row does not say whether a screen passcode is set. |
| Enrollment | The date it enrolled, the last time it checked in (Last seen), and the last app inventory. |
| Assignment | The assigned user, device groups, and the last location if one was collected while the device was in Lost Mode. |
The tabs
| Tab | What the tab does |
|---|---|
| Commands | Command history: command name, status, when it was created, when the device acknowledged it. How to send one: Send a command. |
| Apps | Apps & Books licenses and apps the device has reported. Uninstall opens the command box to remove that app — it does not remove it the moment you click. |
| Profiles | Configuration profiles and app-signing profiles the device has reported. A Last synced line with an empty list means the device answered and has none of that kind. No Last synced line means it has not been asked. Both cases can show No profile inventory or No provisioning profile inventory. |
| Policies | Device policies and compliance policies currently applied to the device. |
| Location | Coordinates already received. They appear only after a location command while Lost Mode is on. A Mac does not have this tab. |
| Inventory | Extra inventory. |

The … menu beside Send command has Lock device (lock the screen) and Delete from MDM.
Delete from MDM removes the device from the management list. It is not the same as a wipe command. Do not choose it when you only want to look.
Common questions
- What is Refresh for?
- It sends a command that asks the device for its information again. Name, operating-system version, and serial update when the device answers, not the moment you click.
- Last seen is a long time ago?
- The device is still Enrolled but has not been online for a while. A new command waits until the device has a network. If a command does not leave Pending, also check the push certificate.
- The passcode was cleared, but Passcode lock still says Unlock token present?
- That row does not say the device currently has a screen passcode. It says a token is still there for another Clear Passcode. Send Security Info if you need to know whether a screen passcode is set.
