Appearance and the organization name
Change how the console looks for you. An administrator can also set the logo and the defaults for the whole organization. This does not change devices, commands, or permissions.
Your appearance
Every account can do this. Open Settings → Appearance, or the letter circle and then Appearance.
Theme: Light, Dark, or Match system (follows the device you are using).
Style: Solid, Glass, or High contrast.
Accent color: Blue, Indigo, Teal, Violet, Orange, Graphite. That color is used for primary buttons, links, and the item you have selected.
Under Layout, Density is Comfortable or Compact. Reduce transparency turns glass surfaces solid when Glass is hard to read. The switch also follows the device setting that reduces transparency.
The choice is kept in this browser, then saved to your account. Another computer picks it up after you sign in with the same account.
The sun, moon, or screen button on the menu bar only switches Light, Dark, or System. The other items are on the Appearance page.
Reset to defaults clears your own choices. Organization defaults stay, if an administrator set them.
Logo and organization defaults
Administrators only. Open Settings → Organization. Other accounts see Only administrators can change organization branding.
Logo: PNG or JPEG, up to 1 MB. It shows on the menu bar and the sign-in page, including before anyone signs in. Upload logo puts it up. Remove logo returns to the product logo.
Console name replaces the word VN-MDM on the menu bar.
Default theme, Default style, and Default accent color apply to people who have not chosen their own. Product default means there is no organization override. Click Save changes.
Common questions
- I changed the theme on this computer, and another computer did not change?
- Sign in with the same account and wait a moment. If it is still old, open Appearance again or reload the page.
- Upload logo is missing?
- The account is not an administrator. Ask someone who can open Organization.
