Enroll a Windows PC
The person at the PC adds a work account. VN-MDM does not send a Safari link, and it does not show a QR code for Windows.

On the PC
Open Settings → Accounts → Access work or school.
Choose to add an account. The username is the person’s email, so the PC is tied to that person.
When Windows asks for the MDM server, paste the MDM server value you copied on Turn on the service. Do not paste the Discovery URL.
The password is the organization’s Enrollment password, not the employee’s Windows password.
When it finishes, the PC appears under Devices as managed. Profiles and commands arrive at the next check-in.
Lock and location do not work immediately after this step. Install the helper on the same PC if you need those two commands. Restart, Defender, and profiles do not need the helper.
Common questions
- Windows says it cannot find the server?
- The PC must reach the right server on the internet. Check that you pasted MDM server, not Management URL. The Windows MDM switch must be on.
- Wrong password?
- Use the Enrollment password shown on the service page. If you just used Rotate, the old password does not enroll a new PC.
- How do I take the PC out of management?
- The Unenroll command on the commands page. Delete from MDM removes the row from the list. Those are two different actions.
