The Settings → Windows column
| Item | Use it when |
|---|---|
| Service settings | Turn on MDM, get the password and server address, the helper, and WNS. |
| Profiles | Write settings the PC receives at the next check-in. |
| Compliance | The Soon label. There is no compliance rule yet. |
The Windows tab in Apps & Books does not publish apps yet. See Windows apps.
Without WNS, the PC still receives commands on the Check-in interval. Lock and location need the helper on each PC. Restart, wipe, Defender, and profiles do not need the helper.
